“No Akata Man I” is Jaymz Nylon’s latest outing using his Ofunwa Adeagbo (O-foon-wa) ( ah-DEH-ag-boh) moniker.

The term Akátá is currently used among some Nigerians and other West Africans in the United States to refer to African Americans, the word is also perceived to be pejorative.
But here Nylon takes the opportunity with song to neutralize the negative connotations of the word in honor of the many contributions made to the world by former enslaved Africans.

You can remove the man from Africa but you can never remove Africa from the man… Enjoy this Afro House gem that also features a magnificent Afrotech Dub!
